gur ka halwa banany ka asan tareeqa
Gur ka halwa, also known as gud ka halwa, is a traditional Indian dessert made from jaggery, which is a type of unrefined sugar made from cane or palm juice. It is typically made by heating jaggery with ghee (clarified butter), and then mixing in wheat flour or semolina until it forms a thick, pudding-like consistency. Nuts and spices, such as cardamom, can also be added for flavor. The recipe can be modified with different ingredients and proportions, depends on the personal preference. Here is a simple recipe to make gur ka halwa:
- 2 cups gur (jaggery)
- 1 cup whole wheat flour
- 1 cup ghee (clarified butter)
- 1 cup water
- Nuts (such as almonds and cashews) for garnish (optional)
Method:
- Heat the ghee in a pan over medium heat. Add the whole wheat flour and stir continuously for about 5-7 minutes, or until the flour turns golden brown.
- In a separate pan, melt the gur by heating it with water, stirring continuously until it dissolves.
- Once the gur has dissolved, add it to the pan with the whole wheat flour and ghee. Stir the mixture until it comes together and becomes thick.
- Cook the halwa for a few minutes more, until it begins to pull away from the sides of the pan.
- Garnish with nuts (if desired) and serve warm.
Note: You can also add some cardamom powder, saffron, and nutmeg powder to give it a unique and delicious flavor.
